How to lace a Nocturne Design bodice

Instructions for lacing bodice with eyelet back
EVEN number of eyelets top to bottom	ODD number of eyelets top to bottom
(1) Thread top eyelets so the ribbon loop is on the outside of the garment. (2) Even up ribbon so both ends are the same length on the inside of the garment. (3) Thread the next two eyelets down from the inside, left eyelet to right, right eyelet to left. The ribbon crosses over on the inside. (4) Thread the next two eyelets down from the outside, right eyelet to left, left eyelet to right. The ribbon crosses over on the outside. (5) Repeat 3 and 4 till the ribbon comes out the bottom two eyelets. See Diagram (2)	(3) Thread the next two eyelets down from the outside, left eyelet to right, right eyelet to left. The lace crosses over on the outside. (4) Thread the next two eyelets down from the inside, right eyelet to left, left eyelet to right. The lace crosses over on the inside. (5) Repeat 3 and 4 till the ribbon comes out the bottom two eyelets. See Diagram (4)

Check: (1) The edges of the garment being laced, are parallel vertically, if they are not the lacing is pulled too tightly in some spots. (2) Wear the garment for 5 to 10 minutes then re-adjust.
