- Nocturne Design Pty Ltd was formed in march 1998, after the designer Claire Maples, had been operating solo for a number of years.

The Designer Claire Maples:
- Claire Maples graduated with First Class Honours from University of Technology Sydney and was also awarded the University Medal being the top student of her year.
- After a few years of working with a number of designer labels, Claire started the business Nocturne Deign in 1996 and has been helping people with bridal and evening wear to this day.
Manufacturing:
- All Nocturne Design garments are skillfully made in Australia with most of the manufacturing carried out in Canberra ACT, the garments command high standards of manufacturing.
- Nocturne Design use quality fabrics and thread from a multitude of international sources.
- Nocturne Design can make garments in a very short time when necessary, bridal dress and wedding garments are best started 3 month before, we can usually make to your time table.
Sizing of Garments:
- Nocturne Design can make garments to fit anyone.
- The Nocturne Design shop keeps most garments on their racks in sizes 8 to 18.
- Extra Small = 8 to 10.
- Small = 10 to 12.
- Medium = 12 to 14.
- Large = 14 to 16.
- Extra Large = 16 to 18.
- Garment sizing chart, the sizing below vary depending on the garment style chosen, and you do not have to be the exact measurement for a garment to fit well.

These measurements are a standard we use and do not necessarily meet with standards other manufacturers use.
As a result we recommend you use measurements as your guide rather than size 8,10,12 etc. |
